She offers the soft vulnerability of her shoulder as a disarming gesture, but it is a feint. Her true self is a fortress, an unyielding, intelligent fire that rages just behind the impossible calm of her eyes. She holds entire, untranslated novels in that single stare, daring the viewer to read even the first line. To meet her gaze is to accept your own undoing; a quiet, destined destruction that you welcome with open arms."
