THE ARTIST'S VISION
"This work is a relentless study of absolute dominance. I wanted to build an empire of shadow and light where the subject does not just sit; she reigns.
The composition is defined by a violent contrast. The figure herself is rendered with 'sculptural precision'—armor, skin, and bone exist in hyper-real clarity, representing the unshakeable will of the ruler. However, the throne she sits upon is in a state of controlled disintegration. I used rapid, aggressive strokes to fracture the surrounding space, creating a vibrating atmosphere that feels unstable and electric.
This tension—between the solidity of the Queen and the chaos of her world—is the core of the piece. She is the calm eye in the center of a graphite storm."
